We asked Emily few questions about her oral health and daily oral hygiene routine

Emily brushes twice a day morning and night with her electric toothbrush, she uses the 2-minute timer to ensure she is brushing for long enough.

Emily is also very good at cleaning in between her teeth daily too, using flossettes as she finds them easier then tape.

She discloses her teeth once a month to ensure her brushing is up to a good standard.

We send an E-mail to her to remind her to change her brush head every 3 months, she finds this very helpful and, she finds the information that she receives every 6 months with her goody bag very useful.

Meet Cameron - Teen Dental Plan

Cameron came in for his 12-point Health Check and Hygiene recently and when we disclosed his teeth his plaque score was fantastically low. #

We asked him some questions:

  1. “How often are you brushing your teeth?”

Ans. “Twice a day with my electric toothbrush and always using the 2-minute timer.”

  1. “Do you use anything to clean in-between your teeth?”

Ans. “No”

@155 – “Let’s show you some easy flossers to get you started on technique”

  1. “Do you use the disclosing tablets in your pack?”

Ans. “Yes, once a month, the goodie bag is full of useful stuff to help you check that you are brushing correctly and the e-mail reminder after 3 months to change the toothbrush head is really helpful”

@155 says – look how healthy his teeth and gums are – you too can get your teenagers to brush like this with our help.

I would like to just say that treatment and service I received for a tooth to be filled and rebuilt at Dental@155 was the most pleasant, relaxing and comfortable treatments I have ever had. It was done in a very relaxed, painless and most comfortable way. In fact, I was so relaxed and comfortable I could have dropped off to sleep! The tooth looked absolutely awesome too! It didn’t look like a traditional filling it looked exactly like I had had a complete new tooth – perfect in shape, size and in every way! All of the service was excellent!! The hygienist was very thorough and gentle and I received great service from the receptionists too!

Karen and her team were recommended to me by a friend.. From the very first consultation right through to the extraction of a tooth, the team were very professional and caring. I explained that I was a nervous patient and that I wasn’t looking forward to the procedure but knew it had to be done. All the way through Karen and her team were very supportive, Karen explained each step that was being undertaken, there was a kind hand to squeeze if needed! After the extraction, Karen took time to explain everything. The follow up has also been excellent, with regular phone calls to check on the progress. I feel much more confident of visiting Karen and her team, knowing that they are there with help and support.

I joined the practice in July 2015 having not been to a dentist for around 15 years. I was experiencing a lot of discomfort and bleeding gums when brushing and because of this, I was struggling to clean under the gum line effectively. I was nervous about how much work I may need doing but the whole team made me feel at ease straight away. After a check-up, x-ray, regular hygienist appointments and some really helpful, practical advice on dental care, I was ready to start. Six months on, my gums no longer bleed when brushing, I’m not in any pain and I’m in a really good place to start maintaining my teeth properly. Thank you to the whole team at 155!

When the subject of “cosmetic dentistry” arises it’s all too easy to think of the prominent pearly white gum shield displayed by the cast of TOWIE but I have had a very different experience recently. I was the not so proud owner of two very grey patched up front teeth and after consultation with Karen Parker I decided to go for porcelain veneers. After two quick, easy and pain free appointments I now have my smile back and the confidence that goes with it.

Fantastic results and I did not even need an anesthetic for the bill!!!!!
